With a $1.5 million investment, CVS Health® is expanding access to care in Atlanta. This includes support through our Health Zones initiative, which funds local organizations focused on maternal health, mobile clinics and free screenings — bringing essential services to more people, right where they need them.

Heather: So the Good Samaritan Health Center was founded to be a full circle of health model for our patients in need. The investment of CVS Health and the Good Samaritan Health Center is making a significant impact on Atlanta's west side and throughout metro Atlanta. Their funding means that we are able to see patients in need same day instead of making them wait weeks, sometimes months, to see a doctor. We are able to provide them with healthy and nutritious food and health access. That is the difference between managing their chronic disease and ultimately dying from it.

Breanna: Our community experiences a disproportionate burden of health inequities, and I am thankful that CVS Health sees this and has stepped up to be present in our community and support local organizations like Good Samaritan Health Center in doing this work.

Shannan: I would like to say to CVS Health. Thank you. I'm grateful for all the things you offer. I've used, what I've learned to share with, my mom, my brother, my sister, and I'm just happy to be able to take advantage of it.

Nicole: The program is tailored for people who live in the community. So it's just been an eye opener in so many different ways. And I've been able to connect with people in my community that I didn't know before.

Heather: If I could say one thing to CVS Health, it would be thanks a million. Thank you for your investment and partnership with Good Sam has made the difference in countless lives, and it's encouraged everyone within these walls to keep going and fighting the good fight to bring health care access to all health.
