By day, Amanda Nummy is an engineer who solves complex problems and brings a passion for environmental sustainability to her work. Outside of the office, she finds freedom through dance, especially tap. Engineering trips, workshops, auditions and performances keep her traveling at least once a month, so balance matters.

“I really use it as a one-stop shop,” Amanda said. “CVS is my go-to pharmacy. I go there for flu shots, COVID-19 vaccines, snacks, drinks, supplements and all sorts of stuff.”
Whether she needs a prescription from CVS Pharmacy, care at MinuteClinic, performance makeup from trusted brands, personal care products or a quick snack, Amanda can find what she needs without losing her momentum.
“It’s definitely a time saver. How often are you able to buy medicine, lipstick and Post-it notes all in one store?” she said.
Her connection to CVS Pharmacy also reflects a cause close to her heart. Through her engineering work, Amanda sees how discarded materials can affect waterways, wildlife and human health.
She supports CVS Pharmacy’s medication disposal program and encourages members of her networking group to participate in Drug Take Back activities by taking collected medications to a local CVS Pharmacy.
“I’m passionate about the environment and how everything is interconnected,” she said. “I’m appreciative that these drop boxes exist because it gives us an easy way to responsibly dispose of medications we don’t need.”
For Amanda, that support offers more than convenience: It provides peace of mind and the freedom to focus on solving the next challenge, protecting the planet and dancing toward the next opportunity.
