Through these efforts, we’re helping more women receive timely, compassionate support — whether they’re navigating major life transitions, growing their families or managing everyday health.
Menopause and midlife care
- CVS Health became the first company in the country to receive the Menopause Friendly Accreditation from MiDOViA, an organization that helps employers support individuals navigating menopause.
- MinuteClinic® offers virtual and in-person menopause services in most states. Many MinuteClinic providers have been trained in supportive menopause care through The Menopause Society.
Maternal mental health
- 100% of MinuteClinic behavioral health providers completed postpartum mental health training.
- We collaborated with the Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance to support our network providers with training courses and free continuing medical education (CME) classes on a range of maternal mental health topics.

Fertility and family planning
- MinuteClinic providers offer contraceptive and family planning services, both in person and virtually in 50 states.
- CVS Pharmacy® also provides contraception products and pharmacist-prescribed birth control in select states.
- Aetna® provides bundled prior authorization for pharmacy prescriptions and medical procedures for in vitro fertilization (IVF).
- Aetna was the first major insurer to expand access to intrauterine insemination (IUI) as a medical benefit available on all eligible plans.
- The fertility Care Teams at CVS Specialty® are highly trained on the unique clinical, financial and emotional demands of fertility treatments, enabling simpler access to fertility medications. This includes support for patients accessing significantly reduced pricing on fertility medication via the TrumpRx fertility program.

Holistic and preventive care
- Routine preventive services, including pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, HPV vaccines and more, are covered for most Aetna plan members.
- CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic® make preventive care convenient and accessible with services including well-woman screenings and vaccinations.

We’re reimagining the feminine care aisle as a holistic destination for women’s health. Our new wellness offerings for menopause support, period comfort, probiotics and intimate care help support whole-person wellness for women.
