New mini-pitch at Clarendon Elementary School will support student wellness and expand access to soccer for students, families and the broader Secaucus community.

WOONSOCKET, R.I., October 29, 2026 — CVS Health® (NYSE: CVS) today announced the opening of a newly refurbished Mini-Pitch System at Clarendon Elementary School in Secaucus, New Jersey, in collaboration with the Alex Morgan Foundation, Musco Lighting and the U.S. Soccer Foundation. The new mini-pitch will provide students at Clarendon Elementary School with a dedicated space to play, stay active and experience the benefits of soccer, while also creating opportunities for community use outside of school hours.

The Secaucus mini-pitch is part of CVS Health’s broader work with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to expand access to play and create more opportunities for young people to lead active, healthy lives through soccer. It builds on CVS Health’s broader soccer efforts, including community field revitalizations, Play Starts Here youth clinics, coach training and community events designed to make the game more accessible and strengthen connections through play.

“When communities have spaces that encourage play, connection and physical activity, everyone benefits,” said Heenal Desai-Thaker, District Leader, CVS Health. “We are proud to support the opening of this mini-pitch and help create more opportunities for students to stay active and engaged. We hope this space serves as a lasting resource for both the school and the broader Secaucus community.”

Located on the grounds of Clarendon Elementary School, the Mini-Pitch System transforms an existing play area into a dedicated space for soccer and recreation. Featuring new goals, fencing, benches and LED lighting, the field will support student wellness while also providing opportunities for community use outside of school hours.

“Soccer has shaped my life in countless ways, and I’ve seen firsthand how access to the game can build confidence, support well-being and create a sense of community,” said Alex Morgan. “Having accessible places to play gives kids the opportunity to be active, build friendships and feel like they belong. I’m proud that, together with my foundation, we’re working with CVS Health to bring those opportunities to more young people and families in Secaucus.”

“I am so very thankful to the Alex Morgan Foundation, CVS Health and all of their partners that gave so generously to ensure the Town of Secaucus was able to be the beneficiary of the mini-pitch”, said Michael Gonnelli, Mayor of Secaucus. “I have no doubt the mini-pitch will be in constant use and will continue to foster a love for soccer and lead to the continued growth of our soccer programs town-wide.”

“Our mission is to create equity and opportunity for girls and women on the field and off,” said Laura Wolf Stein, Executive Director, Alex Morgan Foundation. “This mini-pitch furthers our impact in two of our focus areas, sports equity and opportunities for girls, by giving more young people in Secaucus a place to play and gain confidence.”

The mini-pitch was officially unveiled on October 26 during a celebration featuring students, school leaders, community partners, and representatives from CVS Health, the Alex Morgan Foundation and the U.S. Soccer Foundation. The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and youth soccer activities giving students the opportunity to be among the first to use the new field.

The Clarendon Elementary location marks the next chapter of CVS Health’s multi-year field revitalization commitment, which includes previously announced multi-use field redevelopment projects at Garfield Park Bridge Spot in Washington, D.C, Foreign Language Academy in Kansas City, Missouri, Orchard Elementary School in Vancouver, Washington, and Pantera Park in Diamond Bar, California.
