When everyone depends on you, it helps knowing someone has your back
Bosme Daruwalla, Sugar Land, TX
For more than 30 years, CVS Health has been a constant in Bosme Daruwalla’s life, meeting everyday needs, supporting her well-being and coming through with prescription assistance when it matters most. Today, as she balances work, volunteering and caring for her mother-in-law, that steady presence brings peace of mind.
With several family members relying on her, Bosme counts on text and phone reminders from CVS Pharmacy to help her stay ahead of medications and refills, especially when life gets busy.
“I realized somebody has my back in case I slip,” she said. “And that’s CVS Health.”
MinuteClinic is another resource she uses for her family’s screenings, vaccinations and wellness visits. She appreciates the ease of finding health care, medicine, groceries and other essentials under one roof, along with friendly staff who know her and feel like family.
“CVS is the place to go,” she said.
Giving back is also important to Bosme. A Zumba instructor and church volunteer, she teaches children and organizes community health fairs for neighbors in the Sugar Land area who have limited access to services.
At those events, Bosme values CVS Health practitioners providing free screenings and health information to people who may hesitate to seek care.
CVS Health recently supported Bosme’s own family when her husband needed a vital medication they could not afford. A CVS pharmacist promised to look for a solution and called back two hours later with a more affordable option.
“That seared in stone that CVS Health is it,” Bosme said. “The pharmacist was warm and kind, and not just doing her job. CVS really came through like a blessing.”
