A two-person panel discusses the importance of the CVS initiative to Be the First.

While overall rates of tobacco use among young people continue to decline, recent data shows that three million high school students and more than half a million middle school students use e-cigarettes. Complicating this challenge further is new research that shows a link between vaping and an increased risk for COVID-19 infections. On this episode of CVS Health Live, our expert panel from CVS Health's Be The First initiative explore efforts underway to address and prevent e-cigarette use among young people.

Moderated by Eileen Howard Boone, SVP, CSR & Philanthropy, CVS Health and President, CVS Health and Aetna Foundations, this episode will feature the following expert panelists: Bonnie Halpern-Felsher, Ph.D., Founder and Executive Director, Tobacco Prevention Toolkit; Robin Koval, CEO and President, Truth Initiative; and Susanne E. Tanski, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, American Academy of Pediatrics, E-Cigarette Faculty Spokesperson.
