WOONSOCKET, R.I., August 15, 2019 — On August 15, 2019, Judge Polster of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio entered an order severing the CVS entities from the main bellwether opioid trial scheduled for October 2019. Judge Polster granted the order to simplify the October trial and make it more manageable. Judge Polster has not set a trial date for the CVS entities and other severed defendants.
