I can take a breath, knowing they'll take care of her

Stacy Farrell, Chicago, IL

Years ago, one of Stacy Farrell’s children would hide in the corner before getting a shot. As a mom, seeing that fear made an already stressful moment even harder. But with support from her local CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic teams, Stacy has watched those experiences become calmer, with care designed to help her child feel more at ease.

“I can take a breath knowing that CVS will help to reduce my kid’s anxiety because of the way they’ve treated me and my family,” Stacy said.

Online appointment scheduling, easy check-in, little to no wait and private care rooms help make each visit feel manageable instead of overwhelming.

The sense of calm is especially meaningful to Stacy because she understands trust from both sides of care. As a part-time endoscopy nurse in Chicago, she builds trust with patients who rely on her during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. She also administered pediatric vaccines in 2020, giving her firsthand insight into how frightening health care settings can be for children. As a mom who is raising two active children, ages 13 and 11, she wants the same warmth, patience and respect for her own family.

Stacy knows the CVS pharmacists and MinuteClinic nurse practitioners by name and trusts them to care for her family with kindness and professionalism. When prescriptions are not immediately available, pharmacists work with her one-on-one to find a path forward. Those personal moments have helped her family build a trusted relationship with their local CVS team over the years.

The CVS Health® app adds another layer of ease, helping Stacy manage prescriptions, coupons and everyday essentials in one place. For a nurse and mom who values calm and reliable care, CVS Health helps simplify the moments that could otherwise interrupt the day—so her family can stay focused on living well.
