A message from our Chief Sustainability Officer, Jenny McColloch

Navigating health care in a changing world is complicated and requires coordination and trust. At CVS Health, we meet people where they are each day and across each step of their health journey: at the pharmacy counter, in digital experiences, in the community, and across care settings. Together, these touchpoints shape how we approach impact across our enterprise.

Throughout our 2025 Impact Report, we highlight examples of how the health of our people, communities and the planet are interconnected. This is the foundation of our Healthy 2030 impact strategy, and reinforces our ongoing commitment to make care simpler, more connected, and more affordable as we prepare for the future.

CVS Health has an opportunity to drive impact at scale. By connecting the reach of our pharmacies, benefits and care services with data-driven insights and local expertise, we’re closing gaps in care and simplifying how people navigate their health.

In 2025, we were able to address millions of care gaps across our care delivery businesses. We also proactively support patients most vulnerable to extreme weather before health conditions escalate. This is the full strength of our enterprise working to improve public health across the U.S.

We are investing in our more than 300,000 colleagues to be an employer of choice, and our colleagues have dedicated approximately 16 million hours of learning and development in 2025 alone. We advance community health through local partnerships that expand access to care and workforce development, especially for those most at risk. For example, through our Health Zones initiatives, we’ve seen meaningful improvements in patients managing chronic conditions — including improved blood sugar and blood pressure outcomes and fewer emergency room visits. This strategy is embedded across the enterprise and ensures we continue to deliver long-term value.

A healthy planet is fundamental to public health. We continue to manage our environmental footprint responsibly, while building resilience to climate-related risks. We also see that resilient communities are healthier communities, and climate-related risks are growing more complex. We focus on maintaining continuity of care, supporting colleague well-being, and collaborating with local organizations to help vulnerable neighborhoods prepare, all while staying focused on long-term decarbonization at the enterprise level. Resilience remains both a health and business imperative.

Looking ahead, we’re accelerating our efforts in the areas where our enterprise can have the greatest impact, and we will continue to share progress and report transparently as we go. We appreciate your interest in these efforts, and as always, welcome your perspectives.

In closing, thank you to our colleagues and collaborators whose commitment makes this impact real every day. Together, we’re simplifying health care and building a healthier, more resilient future.
