Key points

  • CVS Health is launching an AI Learning Academy to help our colleagues build practical, responsible AI skills.
  • The program is tailored to each business unit or function, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
  • When our workforce is better equipped to use AI, we can work more efficiently and innovate with purpose.

AI is changing how work gets done. Preparing people to use it well is what makes the difference.

That’s why we’re launching the CVS Health AI Learning Academy and investing in how our workforce learns, practices, and applies AI. Not as one-time training, but as a long-term commitment to help our colleagues work with more confidence, clarity, and responsibility in an AI-enabled world.

Our approach is grounded in a simple belief: AI should support human judgment, not replace it. We focus on practical learning that helps colleagues understand where AI fits into their day-to-day work, what it can help with, and where human expertise still matters most.

Building practical AI skills at scale

The AI Learning Academy builds on early momentum from within our technology organization, where 12,000+ colleagues have already participated in hands-on AI learning experiences. Now, we’re expanding that same “learn-by-doing” model across CVS Health.

Throughout 2026, we’re rolling out the AI Learning Academy organization by organization. This intentional approach allows us to tailor learning to the unique priorities, workflows and use cases within each part of our business.

Each rollout includes a dedicated learning week, featuring:

  • Live learning sessions
  • Hands-on workshops
  • Product demonstrations and applied learning experiences
  • On-demand resources, replays and learning journeys

AI training with real-world results

Learning that’s grounded in real work builds confidence and lets colleagues apply what they’ve learned right away. That opportunity matters for everyone, regardless of role or experience level, and supports ongoing growth and career development along the way.

When our colleagues feel confident using AI to enhance their work, we can operate more effectively and innovate with purpose, so we’re better able to support the consumers, patients and communities who rely on us.
