Drug Trend Report 2020: Addressing historic health inequities

Recent events pushed the U.S. health care industry to reflect on how systemic racism impacts health outcomes. The COVID-19 pandemic and its disproportionate impact on communities of color further accelerated our sense of urgency.

Eliminating these disparities requires a deeper look into their root causes. We reach one in three Americans, so we have the ability to keenly understand existing barriers through our claims data. Moving forward, we’ll be working with our clients to put that data into action and identify the next best actions for those who need it most.
