“There are no words to describe that awful lonely feeling when you can’t hug someone you love,” 101-year-old Birdie told pharmacist Stephanie Rouse. Because of the pandemic, Birdie hadn’t been able to see her daughter in over a year although they live just miles apart. “I had the privilege of providing the COVID-19 vaccinations that helped bring them together,” says Stephanie, who was there that memorable day.
