The CVS Health Foundation Hometown Fund

Making an impact on health in our local communities through strategic nonprofit partnerships.

Investing in the communities where we live and work

Our local communities are at the heart of everything we do. The CVS Health Foundation Hometown Fund is a new program that invests in our home states of Rhode Island and Connecticut, as well as in neighboring Massachusetts — to demonstrate our unwavering support for our local communities.

Through the program, we will provide grant funding to nonprofit organizations in the following focus areas:

  • Access to health care: Supporting programs that bridge the gap in access to health care for underserved populations.

  • Health equity: Supporting programs that decreases health disparities and improves health outcomes.

  • Social services: Supporting programs that address the key social determinants of health, including housing, access to food and economic stability.

  • Education: Supporting programs that advance K–12 education, scholarships and workforce training.

Karen S. Lynch, President and Chief Executive Officer, CVS Health

“A complement to our wide array of national philanthropic initiatives, the Hometown Fund is our way of giving back to the communities we call home. We’re proud to support nonprofits across the region who are making an impact on the lives of individuals in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.”

Karen S. Lynch, President and Chief Executive Officer, CVS Health
